Good Evening Deanery of Kent,
It is with a profound sense of gratitude that I write to you all in thanks for your support and care for the parishioners at St. Andrew's Tilbury at the deconsecration service this evening. There were a number of representatives from our deanery and beyond, and I know the large turnout for this service was appreciated by all. We gathered together in prayer and praise and were reminded by Bishop Terry that we have a choice in how we respond to this disestablishment; we can recoil in sadness and forget about the impact this community has had on our lives or we can step out in faith and continue to live our baptismal vows in hope, I know those of us who were there chose the latter!
