ARCHDEACON’S REPORT – a reminder for all congregations to submit annual vestry forms to Church House by Feb28th, 2015.  There was a conversation around the Safe Church protocols and a reminder that the reporting document is due March 1st, 2015. 

 

Report from Diocesan Council- as no one was present who had attended, there was no report.

 

MINISTRY PRESENTATION – Shirley Sewell & Jane Cartier offered an excellent presentation of Lenten materials available to us as provided by both the Diocese and the National Church.  Those present divided into smaller groups and spent a few minutes reflecting on our own faith journeys and our hopes and joys within our churches.

 

RENEW REPORT – Randa Speller reported that the Sunday School at Holy Trinity had offered a Valentine Fund Raiser with proceeds going to the National Youth Initiative.

 

Lay Readers- Rev. Dave Fuller offered a report from the workshop with Canon John Hill held in 2014 and reported that we are looking to host the second of these in 2015.  There will be a Diocesan Lay readers Workshop help this May to which all are invited.

 

Deanery Round Up

Ann Russchen offered a report of the Ministry of Trinity, Blenheim.
